World Brands Australia commenced operation in July 2002 as a sole operator, becoming a corporation in 2006.
With the head office based in the beautiful Australian city of Perth, on the West Coast, it is now represented across all of Australia
The Company today is creatively involved in the beverage industry and more recently medical devices
Our Story
Paul Wormley the director of World Brands Australia created the company in July 2002.
With 12 years experience of working through the evolving companies of Fortune Brands, which became JBB Asia Pacific that later morphed into Maxxium, Paul had acquired years of experience with iconic global brands such as Jim Beam, Absolut, Cointreau, Jagermeister, Glenfiddich, Galliano, Glayva, Famous Grouse, Whyte & Mackay, Charles & Piper Heidsieck & Remy Martin to name but a few.

The World Brands Australia business initially commenced with importing a handful of English beers, though quickly expanded into other categories of wines, spirits, ciders & liqueurs.

World Brands Australia has sourced and introduced many brands into Australia that are now well recognised throughout the Australian beverage industry.
Such brands as Oyster Bay Wines, John Smith's, Murphy's Irish Stout, Newcastle Brown Ale, Westons Cider, The Finest Call Cocktail mixes, Hobgoblin Beer range, McEwan's Scottish Ale, Royal Jamaican ginger beer,
Within Western Australia,
World Brands Australia introduced and established brands such as 42 Below vodka, Van Gogh vodka, Roberto Cavalli vodka, Agwa liqueur, Patron Tequila, La Fee absinthe & Erdinger beer.

In late 2012 after 18 months of being courted by Westons cider UK, the goodwill of the business was sold to Westons , whereby the portfolio at the time transferred to the new UK owned company with Paul moving across as part of the agreement.
In 2016 after a 3 year hiatus at Westons, Paul re-established World Brands Australia, whereby the company has since continued on a journey of sourcing and marketing a new range of high profile & eclectic brands for the Australian marketplace.

The company has further diversified building an association with the global enterprise of PLAYBOY.
A relationship that is assisting and helping the sexual wellness and wellbeing of Australians.
