Real Cider & Cider Apples

Weston's "Stowford Press" Cider is the only authentic draught cider available on a large scale in Australia.
By authentic we mean made from "cider apples" as opposed to supermarket or eating apples.
Australia has yet to fully understand cider just as it had to with with wine in the 60's. You can 'but wouldn't' make and drink wine from supermarket grapes and the same applies to cider.
There is a huge difference in cider apples and supermarket apples.
One creates a higher qaliity cider of apple fruit flavours ideal for fermenting whilst the other provides a weak watery bland tastless substance that requires added sugars, flavourings and colourings to mask its inferiority.
In time it is hoped that Australians begin to educate not only themselves but others on what cider is really meant to be.
PS. Cider is made at a Cider Mill not a cidery.....what ever that is?
